Last Saturday the Alabama Crimson Tide met the Auburn Tigers down on the Plains in Auburn, Alabama for the annual Iron Bowl Game. If you live in Alabama or have ever visited Alabama you know just how big this game is every year. In fact, the sportscasters were joking before the game that when you go to the DMV to get your driver’s license they don’t ask you your birthday or your address, they ask you if you’re for Alabama or Auburn.

This year’s game definitely lived up to all the pre-game hype and was won literally with one second left on the clock and Auburn came away the victor. The War Eagle roar could probably be heard at our Clow Valve facility located in Oskaloosa, Iowa it was so loud.

The Tyler/Union team in Anniston has a longstanding tradition after the iron bowl. The iron man that stands at the entrance gates to Tyler/Union is always painted the team colors of the team that wins the iron bowl that year. The Auburn leaning General Manager and Plant Manager at Tyler/Union didn’t waste any time blasting off the Alabama crimson and white colors.
